Description
Catalyzed, non-chelating, organic acid deoxidizer for cleaning copper, brass, steel and aluminum parts prior to plating. Excellent to remove oxides, dirt and heat scale from iron, steel and aluminum to prepare them for plating. Requires 1 part acid to 5 – 10 parts water to remove all oxides (in 5 minutes) when the parts are cleaned by immersion at 170° F. Unique acids drop all copper ions as insoluble oxides when neutralized in waste treatment plants.
